If X spends 20% on house rent, he will be left with 100*.8 = 80
Now out of 80 he spends 70%, so now he is left with 80*.3 = 24
Here 24 represents saved income of $1800 , then 100% represents 1800*100/24=7500.
So the total income is 7500.
