If ashok gives 'x' marbles to gaurav then ashok and gaurav would have A - x and G + x marbles.
A - x = G + x --- (1)
If Gaurav gives 2x marbles to Ashok then Gaurav and Ashok would have G - 2x and A + 2x marbles.
A+ 2x - (G - 2x) = 30 => A - G+ 4x = 30 --- (2)
From (1) we have A - G = 2x
Substituting A - G = 2x in (2)
6x = 30 => x = 5.
