Ashok bought 3 ⅓ kilos of rice. He gave away 1 ⅔ kilos of rice to his neighbour. How many kilos of rice is left with him ? *

Answer:

1 kg = 1000 grams

he bought 3 1/3 kg means 3333.333 grams

and give 12/3 kg to neighbors means

1666.667 grams

he left 3333.333-1666.667

=1666.666 grams that is

= 12/3 kg
