if a-b =7 and a^2+b^2=87, the find the value of a^3-b*^3

a-b=7
b=7+a----(1)
a^2+b^2=87-----(2)
from (1)&(2)
a^2+(7+a)^2=87
a^2+49+a^2=87
2a^2+49=87
2a^2=87-49
a^2=38/2

a =  \sqrt{19}
