From his inital position , he is at an angle

$=315^\circ-(135^\circ+135^\circ)$

$=315^\circ-270^\circ$

$=45^\circ$

Thus Ashwini is 45° clockwise from his initial position

i.e. Ashwini is now facing the West direction
