1• The capacity of the tank is 5000 litres (when the volume of the tank is 5m3. Thus one meter cube volume is equal to 1000 litre)

2• Volume of the Water Tank= lbh= 3 x 2 x 1

= 6 m^3

= 6 x 1000

= 6000 Litres.

3• volume of cistern = 729

side^3=729

side=√729

side = 9

bottom of cistern must be square

area of base =side×side

= 9×9

= 81 unit sq.
