The electrical potential difference is defined as the amount of work done to carrying a unit charge from one point to another in an electric field. In other words, the potential difference is defined as the difference in the electric potential of the two charged bodies.?
Alpha particles
1. How can use alpha radiation as a therapy to repair the biological cells ? mechanism?
2. When alpha particle interact with a scintillator materials such as ZnS(Ag), it generates electron hole pairs in the medium due to ionization. When these electrons combine at luminescent center it generate light.
My questions is whether these primary electrons are capable of generating secondary electrons or not? if yes how to quantify them and what is their contribution is radio-luminescence/ scintillation?
Beta particles
1. Why is beta radiation used in measuring thickness?
2.Why can't beta particles be used as a projectile for artificial radioactivity?
Gamma particles
1. Why Gamma Radiation Exposure leads to decrease of Band Gap ?
2.What are the applications of the powerful Gamma ray in range of 20 -200 keV?
