The colour of copper sulphate solution changes when Iron nail is dipped in it .This is because iron is more reactive than copper so iron displace the copper that's why the colour changes

cuso4 +fe→ feso4+cu

it is because fe displaces cu from its solution as fe is more reactive than cu.
