Pressure=Force /Area
Force is constant
Then Pressure is inversely proportional to Area
If area is more pressure is less and if area is less pressure is more
So when my friends press the pencil at the ends with same force the person who presses the front portion or nib feels pain because there the area is less and pressure is more.
whereas the downside portion is spherical and has more area so less pressure.
