Answer:

View on World war 1 and 2

Explanation:

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

We are all aware of this universal fact, but I believe that this saying does not hold true in case of World War.

World war 1, also known as the great war began in 1914 after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. His murder catapulted into war across Europe. When the war began, it was believed to be over by Christmas, but it lasted more than 4 years. It was a war like no other before. The fighting involved world's leading industrial nations. The scale of death and destruction was unthinkable. About 9 million died and 20 million were injured. Most killed were those of the working age. It lead to the snapping of the economic system of the world. India, being a colony of Britain too had to bear the brunt of the war.

Not learning from past, the second world war was declared in about 2 decades later in 1939 which lasted 6 years. Once again death and destruction were enormous. About 3% of the then world population died.

However, this lead to a turning point in shaping the future of the nations.

International bodies like the World Bank and International Monetary Funds were established. Later UN was developed to resolve the issues between nations.

The world wars have done great destruction, but at times the end marks the beginning of something beautiful.

Maybe, had we not had the wars, India wouldn't have been independent today. It is a possibility that the freedom that people have today wouldn't have been without the wars.

Hope this helps!
