Introduction:

There are a multitude (meaning many) of conflicts going on in various parts of the world today. Our own nation is facing both internal and international conflicts. Though each conflict is different, and may be dealt with in different ways, the common ideology that is emerging is that peace talks are the only way out.

Why violence happens:

Violence usually occurs when groups of people strongly disagree with each other or with the administration. The protesters can get violent or the administration may use force against them.

Point 1:

Violence can never end violence. Using force will only add more fuel to the situation. With more violence, the number of arrests will increase, as will the anger of the protesters. It will instigate people to get even more aggressive and the issue will snowball (grow much bigger and develop) into a crisis.

Point 2:

If conflicts are dealt with in a violent manner, the administration will never be able to know what the real problem of the people is. It is only when they come face to face for peace talks that the issue will be identified and efforts can be made to find a solution. Peace talks clarify the position of both sides.

Conclusion:

It is thus evident that the only way to end violence is through peace talks.
