Good morning respected teacher I, (your name), am here to present my views on the topic ‘Man is the architect of his own fate’.

Today, we see the craftiness of man almost all over the world since he has reshaped his environment, re-engineered his living and reinvented the meaning of life. So, man’s fate is no exception to this phenomenon.

The ancient masters like Aristotle propounded the theory that the tragedy in the life of man issues from a flaw in his own character. The rebound of his own acts contributes to his ruin. Man can make or mar his future, as he wishes. Whether a man suffers or prospers will depend upon his temperament, his actions and doings. Good actions lead to good results.

Whereas, ill-considered actions have unpleasant and even disastrous consequences. Nothing can tie  down a man of fortitude. However, the debate has been unending for those who believe that man is ranged against pre-destined forces of life. To them, fate determines our joys and sufferings. Yet, how far fate meddles with the affairs of man is an unanswerable question. Those who succeed owe their success to their efforts.

A person must try hard to become successful. He must refuse to accept defeat if he wants to build his own fortune. Every man gets the result to his own actions. If he is hard-working, he will be rewarded for it. It is not the stars that decide our fate. It is we who are responsible for what we are.
