You know why is blood donation important? It is one of the most significant contribution that a person in a society can give. In fact, it is not even harmful for a grown person to donate blood. It is a beneficial practice, and science is there to prove it. Science says that there are some dangerous cells in the blood that can be removed from the body when you donate.

The world is also acknowledging the importance of blood donation and the annual World Blood Donor Day is observed on the 14th of June.
