Answer:

Given :- Aslam started a business with Rs. 35,000. After 3 months Akram joined the business with Rs.4000 and after 6 months Asghar invested Rs.5000, At the end of the year they earned a profit of Rs. 1620. Find the share of each in the profit?

Solution :-

from given data we have,

  • Aslam invested = Rs.35,000 for 12 months .
  • Akram invested = Rs.4000 for 9 months.
  • Asghar invested = Rs.5000 for 6 months.

then,

→ Ratio of share of profit = Aslam : Akram : Asghar = 35000 * 12 : 4000 * 9 : 5000 * 6 = 35 * 4 : 4 * 3 : 5 * 2 = 70 : 6 : 5

therefore,

→ Share of Aslam = 1620 * (70/81) = Rs.1400 .

→ Share of Akram = 1620 * (6/81) = Rs.120 .

→ Share of Asghar = 1620 * (5/81) = Rs.100 .
