Thank you for considering my name to answer this question.
Late. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's life, contribution, achievement are an inspiration for anyone of us to change our life by changing the way we believe and do. He has left behind us a legacy of inspiration and guidance, to succeed in every aspect of life.
So, here are some of the facts about him, if you observe and try to learn something from every fact, your life will be changed.
1. Dr.Kalam came from a financially poor background and used to distribute newspapers after school, to support his family's income. But, his persistent efforts made him from a mango man to missile man.
2. He was never the first ranker at school, but he was known for his bright mind and hard work.
3 His poor financial condition never stopped him from dreaming to be a literate. So, if you have a dream and you believe in it, then no hurdles can stop you.
4. He taught us to never fear deadlines and targets. Everythng is possible if we have the will to do it. Once, he had to complete a science project, which had a deadline of three days. The dean of the college threatened APJ Abdul Kalam that he would lose his scholarship if he didn't complete the project within the deadline. But he worked tirelessly, completed the project and impressed the dean.
5. He started his scientific career by designing a small helicopter for the Indian Army. An idea can change several lives. An important take-away for entrepreneurs to never belittle their ideas. Persistence and patience will pay off.
6. He holds the highest civilians honour of our country- Bharat Ratna in 1997. However, he was always grounded. So, he taught us to be humble and stay grounded, even after tasting success and fame.
7. He said, "Don't declare holiday on my death, instead work an extra day, if you love me." This quote is enough to suggest how every day we need to work hard to achieve our desired goals and aspirations.
So, don't he influence you to make your life better than current. Don't you aspire to be like like him who was known for honesty, hard work and compassion?
Hope this helps. Thank you
