4500 = p(1+r/100)^2
also
6750 = p(1+r/100)^4
dividing both
6750/4500 = { p(1+r/100)^4}/p(1+r/100)^2}
3/2 = (1+r/100)^2
root(6)/2 = 100+r/100
100+r = 50*root(6)
r = 22.475 approx
so
4500= p(1.22475)^2
4500 = 1.5p
p = 3000
