Assertion:
A conductor has +3.2x10^(-19) C of charge.
Reason:
Conductor has gained 2 electrons.
Here , Assertion is true , but Reason is false !
But why???
- First of all, when a body gains positive charge, it means that the body has lost electrons (not "gains electrons"). So, Reason is FALSE.
- Now, number of electrons lost will be :
"-" or "negative" sign indicates electrons lost.
So, A is true but R is false !
