(A) is true that at high temperature metal wire such as mainly made up of copper metal has chances of short circuiting as the temp rises the metal get heated surrounding and plastic or rubber wire may melt down.

(R) both resistance and Resistivity may vary due to change in temperature but also resistors are made such that untill the harsh conditions of heating the resistor didn't change it's property. And for the property of resistivity it is depend upon resistance.
