Assertion(A): Hydroflouric acid has low boiling point than water through hydrogen bond in hydroflouric acid is stronger than in water. Reason(R) : Hydrofluoric acid exists as (HF), molecules even in vapour state, where as water exists a (H2O), molecules in vapour state.

Water molecules form a bulky molecule and it is very difficult to break its bonds. To break all its bonds, a large amount of the energy is required. Thus, H2O has a higher boiling point than HF.
