assertion and reason both is correct . thus solid does not move may be some vibration can happen

Explanation:

  1. let us take some eg: take a chalk it has fixed volume and fixed shape like that take chalk power it do not have fixed shape.
  2. untill we make any vibration the chalk does not break.
  3. so in case of gas let us take CO2 it neither have fixed shape nor have defined volume .so it has lot of space between it
  4. thus solids only have fixed shape and fixed volume.
