Both A and R are true and R is the correct explanation of A.
The Russian Social Democratic Labor Party was a communist ideological group established in Minsk, present day Belarus, then, at that point, Russian Empire. Framed to join the different progressive associations of the Russian Empire into one party in 1898, the RSDLP later split into Bolsheviks (greater part) and Mensheviks (minority) groups, with the Bolshevik group at last turning into the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. The Interdistrictites, known as the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party (Internationalists), were likewise framed from this party.
