Let us assume that, side of cube is x cm .

So,

→ Volume = side × side × side

→ Volume = (side)³

→ (x)³ = 216

→ x³ = 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 3

→ x³ = 2³ × 3³

→ x³ = (2 × 3)³

→ x³ = 6³

cube root both sides,

→ x = 6 cm .

Therefore when volume of a cube is 216cm³, then side of cube is 6 cm .
