1)both assertion and reason are true and reason is correct explanation of assertion.

we can see that H2O being electrolyzed gets converts into hydrogen and oxygen and changes from liquid to gaseous state .

two more example for this would be hydrogen and nitrogen combining to form solid ammonia and gases like hydrogen and oxygen combining to form liquid water
