Carbon dioxide is a green house gas.
During the day, most of the plants take in carbondioxide through stomata as it is an essential component for the process of photosynthesis.
If we cut more and more trees , the levels of co2 gas will rise in the atmosphere given the high rates of co2 emission in today's time.
This would lead to global warming.
FOR INSTANCE-
There was no rise in the temperature of our world 10000 years before the pre industrial area. But since the pre industrial era the temperature has increased by 1 °C . This is due to large scale deforestation and carbon emission.
