Effusion is the movement of gas molecules through the openings in the walls of a porous container.

The above statement says that nitrogen will escape a porous container more faster as compared to the oxygen molecules.

Molecular mass of a gas is inversely corelated with its effusion rate so, the greater is the molecular the lower will effusion rate.

Nitrogen effuses at a rate 1.07 times the speed of oxygen.
