Both the statements are false about egestion and excretion.

  1. Egestion is the removal of undigested waste eaten by organism. The waste remains unprocessed in body and is usually removed by anus or mouth. Moreover, egestion occurs only in animals and not in plants.
  2. Excretion is the removal of metabolic waste produced by different processes in the body. Excretion is done through urethra, skin, mouth and nose in animals. It occurs in both plants and animals.
