Assertion:if a bar magnet Is cut into two pieces each piece will behave as a complete magnet

We know that magnetic monopoles do not exist. Thus if we cut a bar magnet into two pieces, each bar magnets has both poles- north pole and south pole which acts as an individual bar magnet. So, two new bar magnets are formed.
