Natural methods work on the principles of avoiding chances of ovum and sperm meeting. Periodic abstinence is one such method in which the couple avoid from coitus from 10 to 17 of the menstrual cycle when the ovulation could be expected. As a chances of fertilisation is high during this period.. This is called fertile period. Conceptation could be prevented..
