Nitrogen is inhaled and is present in the lungs but can not absorbed by the human beings as it is.


Mostly the major organic molecules have nitrogen in them like proteins, amino acids, nucleic acids, etc.


Our body contains 3% nitrogen by mass and is very important in formation of muscle tissues.


Amino acids are the base of every protein and urea too contains nitrogen because urea is a by product of protein digestion.
