"Punishing those at the top, rather than those at the bottom, is the most efficient approach to eradicate corruption in a community. Because we concluded that leaders must set an example, Singapore has nearly no corruption."

• The sensible conclusion that the system is bad has been reached by many of us. The method we employ is flawed, and those involved who claim that taking part in an imperfect system is the only way to solve it are actively contributing to its continued corruption.
• Clowns are playing circus acts around the mess for the owners' amusement and financial gain. Voting just benefits the circus's owners and confirms the legitimacy of systemic corruption.
• The corrupt are exposed by power: One may only be considered to have been corrupted by power if they had been honest initially, at least for a while, and had just recently turned corrupt. Actually, this is not very frequent. But power has the effect of exposing a man's true desires. How his lack of resources was the only thing standing in the way of his completing the task. But now that he has those, he will be able to satisfy his cravings at last.
