Assignment 1.1
A pulley of radius 0.9 m is used to lift a bucket from the well. If it took 3.6
rotations for the pulley to take water out of the well, how deep is water in the
well?
(Answer = 20 m)
I know answer but I need a valid and proper explanation, that how???​

Explanation:

Basically, a pully is in the shape of a cylinder

So, if we start from a point of the pully and end at the same point we have calculated the C.S.A. of the pully (cylinder),which is equal to 1 rotation.

So, to find the depth of the well, we would have to find CSA × no. of rotations.
