1. a. Zinc + sulphuric acid ——→ zinc sulphate + hydrogen.

b. Pb(NO3)2+2KI...Pb(NO3)2+2KI

c. 2Mg + O2 → 2MgO

2. Magnesium ribbon must be cleaned before burning in air so that the the layer of magnesium oxide (which is formed due to reaction of magnesium with air) can be removed in order to get the desired chemical reaction.

3.a.Mg+O2.....MgO

b.Pb(NO3)2+2kl....2KNO3+Pbl2

Pb(NO3)2 is colorless.. Pbl2...yellow color...

c.Zn+H2SO4...ZnSO4+H2is evolved..
