once oxygen is inhaled it reaches the alveoli.We know that alveoli are thin walled , it allows exchange of gases I.e. co2 and o2. so o2 goes into the capillaries and co2 goes into alveoli.From blood vessel o2 is supplied to cells via haemoglobin

oxygen is transported through out the body hemoglobin in the red blood cells oxygen is transported and exchange provide the necessary oxygen to the body
