First I would ask the need of money and then grant permission basedon the answer. if it is for a good cause, i would grant permission and if itis for an unnecessary requirment I would deny.

i would deny as the person could steal my mobile.

your class fellow wants to get your study material photocopied.

I would grant permission as A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND INDEED۔
