The Little Girl is a very touching and inspirational story of a poor girl, who remains strong even when she faces negligence and rejection from the society. She makes her own living by selling matchsticks. She tries to sell matchsticks, shivering in the cold weather because she does not want to remain hungry. People ignore her, this does not make her weak. She tries to sell the matchsticks even on the Christmas eve, without complain. In the end, the girl dies of freezing in cold. However, one of her dreams of lighting the Christmas tree with her grandmother came true as it she envisions this. This shows that her her hope and faith did not die.

Answer:  The Little Match Girl is a story written by Hans Christian Anderson who had determination in mind and kept her spirit to fight against the oppression and neglect of the society despite hunger and other bottlenecks. If there is a determination in mind, no stone can be left unturned, and one can become successful in life in spite of all odds. One should not give up hope and the spirit but fight for good days.
