multiplication is a

associate property

that is for any rational number a ,b and c:-

a × ( b × c) = ( a × b) × c

For example -

 \frac{ - 2}{3}  \times ( \frac{5}{4} \times  \frac{2}{7} ) ......  (\frac{ - 2}{3}  \times  \frac{5}{4} )\times  \frac{2}{7}

 \frac{ - 2}{3}  \times  \frac{10}{28}  ........   \frac{ - 10}{12}  \times  \frac{2}{7}

 \frac{ - 10}{42}  =  \frac{ - 5}{21}.....  \frac{ - 10}{42}  =  \frac{ - 5}{21}

so..,

\frac{ - 5}{21} = \frac{ - 5}{21}

since \:  = >   \: \frac{ - 5}{21} = \frac{ - 5}{21}

hence = LHS = RHS
