DIVISION:

a ÷ (b ÷ c) ≠ (a ÷ b) ÷ c

Example:

8 ÷ (4 ÷ 2) = (8÷4) ÷ 2

8 ÷ 2 = 2 ÷ 2

4 =1, which is not true.

So, associative law doesn’t hold for division.
