Assume a shadow being formed of a cricket ball and football. If the distances like the distance between the light source and object, distance between the object and screen remain the same, what factors of the shadow would change? What would remain the same?

Shadow is formed when path of light is blocked by an opaque object. The intensity depends of the shadow depends on the size of the object, the distance between source and object and the distance between object and the screen.

In the given case, the distance between source and object and the distance between object and the screen for both balls is same. Therefore, the only factor which will effect is the size of the balls. As cricket ball is smaller than the football, the size of the shadow will vary. The size of both balls is much larger than the wavelength of visible light, so there will be effect on intensity due to it.

Thus, size of shadows would vary while the intensity would remain same.
