We know that the  wavelength of a wave is inversely proportional to the frequency of the wave source and speed is directly proportional to it.

Using this relation we can say that as the frequency of the wave source is doubled, the speed of the wave gets halved. Since frequency does not effect wave speed as much therefore wavelength remains constant throughout.

Assume that waves are propagating in a uniform medium. If the frequency of the wave source doubles then the wavelength is halved and the velocity remains unchanged.

As we know that, v = F * λ.

The wavelength is considered as the distance between the successive crests of any wave, especially it points in any sound wave or an electromagnetic wave.
