Assume that you are going to a market and lost your wallet. You are borrowing money from two of your friends, Rs. 1000 from the one and Rs.500 from the other. You are buying vegetables for Rs.300 and the remaining amount is Rs.1200. You need to spend Rs.1000 and you are willing to return Rs.200 to both of your friends each Rs.100. Now the amount you have to repay for two of your friends as Rs.400(to the one who gave you Rs.500) and Rs.900(to the one who gave you Rs.1000). Adding both we get Rs.1300(900 + 400). The amount you spent for buying vegetables is Rs.300. So the total is Rs.1600(1300 + 300). But you got only Rs.1500 from both of your friends. How come Rs.100 is extra? Explain.
