Assume that you have a heater (electric) operating at 75 Hz, 130 V-AC. If you stand near the heater, you would never feel 150 heat pulses per second (two peaks intensity per ac cycle). Why is it so? Is your skin insensitive to heat waves?​

A thermostat is a component which senses the temperature of a physical system and performs actions so that the system's temperature is maintained near a desired setpoint.
