Answer:

What is narrow span of control?

Each manager has fewer people to oversee thanks to a tight span of control, and there are more levels overall in the organizational structure. A limited scope of control gives managers and staff more time for one-on-one interaction and greater chances for employee advancement, but it can also raise the likelihood of delayed decisions, more bureaucracy, and the development of silos.

What is wide span of control?

Having a wide span of control enables managers to supervise more direct reports and, consequently, more work. Having a large number of direct reports can be overwhelming for managers and can lead to uncertainty regarding team and individual accountability, even though a wide span of control necessitates fewer managers and may promote an easier delegation of responsibilities.

So, having 4100 employees if use these number of employees in wide span of control it can become nightmare for the company growth because this method is only applicable to smaller organization so its better to use narrow span of control because it has more level of authorities and it takes sometimes lower decision making but still having one-on-one communication will have better results.

So, narrow span of control will give better results.
