Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN ; TRIANGLE FRS IS SIMILAR TO TRIANGLE FDE

FS = 44,SD = 99 , FR = 76, FE = 76 + 3X

SOLUTION;

TRIANGLE FRS IS SIMILAR TO TRIANGLE FDE ;

AS WE KNOW , CORRESPONDING SIDES ARE PROPORTIONAL IN SIMILAR TRIANGLES ;

THEN , FS / FD = FR / FE

44 / 44+ 99 = 76 / 76 + X

44/ 143 = 76 / 76 + X

BY CROSS MULTIPLICATION ;

44 × ( 76 + X ) = 143 × 76

3344 + 44X = 10868

44X = 10868 - 3344

44X = 7524

X = 7524 / 44 = 171

SO, X IS 171

THANKS ☺️☺️
