Astagfirullah is an Arabic word which in Hindi means "Mai Allah se shama (maafi) mangta hun" and in English it means "I seek forgiveness from Allah".
The word "Astagfirullah" is used by the believers of Islam when they repent. Often the believers of Islam use the word Astagfirullah after they commit any wrong.
