Answer:

Hello,

total number of sweets - 30

ratio-2:3

let the number of sweets to shweta be 2x and to pallavi be 3x

then, total number of sweets = 5x

for shweta, 2x/5x x 30

                  = 12 sweets

for pallavi, 3x/5x x 30

                  = 18 sweets.

Answer:

Shweta will get 12 sweets

Pallavi will get 18 sweets

Shweta will get 40% of sweets

Pallavi will get 60% of sweets

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of sweets distributed by ashwin = 30 sweets

Let sweets received by shweta be = 2 x

Let sweets received by pallavi be = 3 x

According to the question

2x + 3x =30

5x = 30

X = 30/5

X = 6 sweets

Number of sweets received by shweta = 2x =  2×6 =12 sweets

Number of sweets received by pallavi= 3x =  3×6 =18 sweets

Percentage of sweets received by shweta = 12/30×100

= 40%

Percentage of sweets received by pallavi = 18/30×100

= 60%
