let M.P be x,
then discount =(12/100)×x=12x/100
SP=MP-Discount
13.20=x-(12x/100)
13.20=(100x-12x)/100
1320/88=x
x=Rs15
MP=Rs15
For 5% discount
Discount = d% of MP=(5×100)×15=Rs3/4
SP =15-(3/4)= (15×4-3)/4= Rs 57/4= Rs 14.25
Marked Price is Rs 15 AND
selling price is Rs 14.25
then discount =(12/100)×x=12x/100
SP=MP-Discount
13.20=x-(12x/100)
13.20=(100x-12x)/100
1320/88=x
x=Rs15
MP=Rs15
For 5% discount
