Step 1 - Before adding  Ag^{+}  ion to AgCl solution

        AgCl             -------->        Ag^{+}    +    Cl^{-}

                                               1.[S]            1.[S]

Because compound having 1 : 1 stoichiometric ratio therefore ,it has formula for Ksp ;

Ksp = [S]^{2}  

in this question we are given with the Ksp value which is 1.8 ×10^{-10}

so we can find solubility [S] by using above formula and we get

[S] = \sqrt{Ksp}  and the [S] = 1.34 × 10^{-5}

Step 2- After adding   Ag^{+} ion in AgCl solution

By using common ion effect concept we get ;      

AgCl             -------->        Ag^{+}    +    Cl^{-}

                                        [S + C]          [S]

C is the concentration which is added to the solution and we have C = 10^{-5} moles. New Ksp' will be ;

Ksp' = [S+C] × [S] = [1.34  × 10^{-5} +  10^{-5}] × [1.34  × 10^{-5} ]
