At 27° C and 1 bar pressure,a gas has volume VL. What will be its volume at 177°C and under
pressure of 1.5 bar.​

(P1V1) / T1 = (P2V2) / T2 (1)

we are given that at pressure of 1 atm and temperature of 270 C, the gas occupies a volume v. Therefore

P1 = 1 atm, V1 = v, T1 = (27 + 273) K = 300 K

also P2 = 1.5 atm, T2 = (177 + 273)K = 450 K

Substituting the above values in equation (1), we get

( 1 X v) / 300 = (1.5 X V2) / 450

This gives V2 = v

Thus the volume of the solution remains the same.
