Concentration of OH- ion = c∆

Where ∆ = degree of ionization.

So,

concetration of OH- = c x ∆

= 0.01 x 0.042 N

= 0.00042 N

So,

pOH = [- log(0.00042)] =3.3768

pH = 14–3.3768 = 10.6232 (Ans)
