Vapour pressure of Toluene

0.095 \: bar

To Find:

We have to Find: Total Vapour Pressure of Solution and Composition of Vapour in terms of Mole Fraction.

Solution:

According to the problem, Mole Fraction of Toluene is

mole \: fraction \: of \: benzene = 1 - mole \: fraction \: of \: toluene \\  = 1 - 0.40 = 0.60

therefore total Vapour Pressure will be,

0.256 + 0.095 = 0.351 \: bar
